Can a Hungary citizen travel to Lithuania?

Your HU citizenship gives you freedom of movement to this destination under EU Treaty rights and the EEA Agreement (Directive 2004/38/EC). This is more than visa-free entry: you may enter with a valid passport or national ID card, stay without a visa, and take up residence, employment, self-employment, or study with no permit. After three months you register with local authorities if the country requires it: automatic if you're working or self-employed, but if you're economically inactive (retired, studying, or otherwise not working) you must also hold comprehensive sickness insurance and sufficient resources so you don't become a burden on the host state (Directive 2004/38/EC, Article 7). Your spouse/registered partner and dependent family members can accompany or join you, including non-EU/EEA family members (who may need an entry visa but cannot be charged for the residence right itself). No onward or return ticket is required.
